And what it is not.
It asks the services
Each one answers its own health check, and that answer is what you see. It is a live question every time this page loads, with the result held for twenty seconds so a busy page never becomes the outage.
It is not a reachability test
The question is asked on the machine that serves this site, over loopback. A service can answer perfectly here while something between you and it — DNS, a certificate, your network — stops you getting there.
It cannot report its own machine
This page is served by the same machine it is asking about. If that machine is gone, this page is gone with it, and its silence is the only signal it can give you. A status page hosted elsewhere is a later job, and an honest one is better than a green tick that cannot go red.

Declarly has not had an incident worth a note. When it does, it will be written here with what broke, what it affected and what changed afterwards — not removed once it is fixed.
